Now, this is the second time they’re launching the site to go live. And they seem more confident this time [ at least they're bragging more about it, as they've put up a small message boasting more confidence now, compared to the bugtrac they had last time ].

And the Collective seems to be waiting in patience (or maybe not so much patience, but still waiting…). For many of them “know” that this will (most likely/quite probably) be the launch of the long awaited FETD 2 (Flash Element Tower Defence 2).

In the meantime all we fans can do is run around screaming in the NovelConcepts forum (I haven’t seen anyone yet, but maybe they’ve rather started running around at home/work instead).

Hurry up, Critters&Grrr! We need some games to play!

The site (www.casualcollective.com) is currently down for updates (& launches) to make the site ready for the public. Grrr & Critters are currently (hard..?) at work fixing the site, killing bugs and testing it seems, as they predicted it would take an hour. Currently that hour has lasted approx. 3.5 hrs ( and counting… [a developers concept of time is bad when it comes to launches ]). So I guess we all have to wait some more. Maybe we should do as the two of them advises us to: “use this time to say good bye to loved ones, your social life and the outdoors“. Might be a good idea, if the new game FETD2 is as good as the old ones. And as for my opinion, it really looks like I need to throw away my computers for the rest of this week, as I’ve got 2 exams (one tuesday and one thursday [I really need to get back to (..?) reading now] ).

I’ve just recently (sort of) finished a widget for use with the CasualCollective.com-site.
It’s a simple widget listing all current open games currently on the site, and provides a link to the game to join it.
It is currently Mac OS only, as I’ve only coded it for “Dashboard”. I’ll probably not release any new version before the CasualCollective-site goes live, as the game-joining system is going to have a revamp at that time. (I’ll probably try my hands on a new widget after that though, and it’ll probably also include some other nice features, and look much better [I hope].)
