About

This page is currently just a playground of mine, so there might not be much to see here, though I’m thinking of moving my current blog and webpage JKann.net over here sometime in the future, though that is not any current project.

As for me, I’m currently busy studying information technology at The University of Oslo, Norway, and as such, that is also where I live for the time being. I’ve lived in Norway my whole life, in and around the capitol Oslo.

I’m interested in music, movies, books, web-design and -programming ([X]HTML, PHP, JS, CSS…), other programming (from C to Java, etc) and many other things, though I’m currently not bothered to list them all (any questions? Ask me, then! :) ).

As for the name of the website (DoubtingSalmon.com), it is simple enough: I love all the works of Douglas Nöel Adams (1949-2001), and the name of his latest work is The Salmon of Doubt (it is actually just a gathering of all the unpublished material he was writing or had written at the time of passing). I found it quite a strange, fine name and by just doing some small rearrangements, arrived at doubting salmon, which then stuck. And here it is.
